Sketch Frenzy Friday – Evergreen

Happy Friday Everyone!

I am so excited!  I have a play date with another demo friend today.  I so needed a play date as I have been working a lot lately and barely getting time to play with paper.  It will be so much fun spending the day playing!

Friday is our Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge day.  This week I did the sketch.

I created this sketch some time ago.  Not sure what I had in mind when I made it but when I looked at it to make my card I saw a Christmas Tree as the left side element.  I decided to go with that idea.  I recently got the Evergreen set which is on the carry over list.  I knew I could use it and cut it out for the tree.  For the element in the upper right, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do and then it hit me.  What goes with Christmas Trees but presents so I decided to do a little punch art present for the upper corner.  Here is what my final project looked like.

I kept the inside of my card simple as it would allow a place to stamp a sentiment and write a little note.  Do you see the decorations on the tree?  Those are our new candy dots.  I love them!  So much fun for adding a little embellishment without making the card bulky.  So, are you ready to see what the other ladies on the design team created using my sketch?  Head on over to the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog and check it out.  I would love to have give my sketch a try and play with us!  If you do be sure to share it with us on the blog.

Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!
