Sending Thanks

Hello Stampers ~We are quickly approaching the season where we will be Sending Thanks for all the gifts we receive this Christmas.

At the yarn store yesterday I managed to get two projects started.  One I can work on and finish on my own.  The other one will only be able to be worked on to a point before I will have to have some expert advice from my friend Mary.  I will work that one to the point I need help and then switch to the other one.  This way I have something to work on in the evening.

I was playing with some of my new products from the Occasions Catalog.  I saw a card on a website where they had used a piece of dsp in the center of a doily.  I thought I would try and see if I could make my version of the card.  I began with a doily.  Using the 2″ circle punch I added a circle of the Sending Love dsp.  I cut the doily in half and will use the other section on another card.  The doily was attached to the left edge of the Real Red layer.  This layer was added to a Whisper White card base.  The cute envelope was made using the little framelit and some of the glassine sheets.  A glue dot added it to the card base.  Real Red ink was used to stamp the heart and the framelit was used to cut it out.  It was added to the front of the envelope with a dimensional.  Now I needed a sentiment.  I stamped the Thanks from Tin of Cards using Real Red onto a piece of Whisper White.  The cute little arrow is also a framelit in the set.  It was cut out or Real Red card stock.  Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue was used to attach it under the sentiment.  Using the Banner Triple Punch the ends were flagged.  Dimensionals were used to attach the sentiment to the card.  Here is my completed card.

Since many of the items are not available to order yet there will not be a list of supplies.  These items will be available to order after January 4th.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a workshop this morning and then I will be working on some projects in my craft room!  Have a Fabulous Friday and what will your card look like when you will be Sending Thanks?
