CutCardStock embossed background

Hello everyone – look at the detail on the CutCardStock embossed background card. This paper is great for embossing.
When an embossing folder creates this beautiful background you want a simple card layout so that the embossing gets to shine.
Today’s Project
It isn’t often that an embossing folder is pretty enough to stand alone. The Altenew Ornate one gives deep impressions and is gorgeous enough to be the star of the show. I used the Smooth White Cougar cardstock as the background as it embosses beautifully.

The But First Coffee pattern paper pad had a great brown swirl that was simple for the layout. It is a great way to use scraps you are holding onto and just can’t bear to throw out. Create a fun L frame in a corner and add an image to finish it off.

If you have skinny strips, here is an idea to use them. This idea uses some square scraps for a beautiful Christmas card.
