Flirty Flamingo Argyle

Hello Everyone ~ Happy Memorial Day and make sure you check out how  I combined several products for my Flirty Flamingo Argyle card today.

I managed to get most of the cards I need for this week designed yesterday.  I also made the 2 cards I need for my Facebook Live today and cut the paper for the 2 I will demonstrate.  I did not push myself but took my time.

Today I will be putting some catalogs I need to mail out together so I can go to the post office tomorrow.  I will also finish the cards I need for this week.  Then I am going to work on my schedule for the month.  I also have another project I need to finish up.

Sometimes when I don’t know what to make for my card I just start pulling elements I want to use.  That is what I did on this card.  I began with the Argyle embossing folder and then added the circle element from Painted Labels dies.  For my image I used the poppy flower from Painted Poppies.  Check out how I combined all these elements for my Flirty Flamingo Argyle creation.

Features of the card

  • card base ~ Flirty Flamingo – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White layer ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″ – 2 pieces, one for the inside and one for the outside
  • Flirty Flamingo ~ 2″ x 5 1/4″
  • Soft Sea Foam ~ 3″ x 3″
  • Soft Sea Foam ink
  • Poppy Parade and Soft Sea Foam markers
  • Argyle embossing folder

Simple elements can make a great card. Adding some embossing and a circle is perfect for this Flirty Flamingo Argyle creation.

This poppy is easy to color with markers. See how I used it on the card front for my Flirty Flamingo Argyle creation.

The poppy set and dies are very popular.  Here are some other ideas I have created using the bundle.

The Poppies suite and stamp bundles retire on June 2nd.  Order now so you don’t miss these fun product to play with.  Here are all the supplies I used to create my cards.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  They are calling for rain again later this week.  My lawn is finally drying out only to have more rain.  Looks like we may have a rainy summer this year.  Have a Marvelous Memorial Day Monday and would you have ever thought about using this color for my Flirty Flamingo Arglye card.
