Simple Merry Christmas Card

Hello Everyone ~ I have a Simple Merry Christmas Card today as I know you are all busy.

Well I had a few things I had to do yesterday that I forgot.  I had an appointment in the morning and I had to do my vacuuming.  I was able to make several cards yesterday before I picked up the girls.  I am hoping to make a few videos today as I need to get them completed.  If I have time I will also work on a few more cards.  I am headed to a weekend crop next weekend so I am working ahead.  I also have to work for the college this evening so I will loose some crafting time.  I should be able to get quite a few of these tasks completed.

I don’t know about you but my days are started to get very busy.  More and more tasks are added to my daily list.  This leaves me less and less time for being creative.  With that being the case, I am on the look out for cards that require little time but still look great.  Today’s card fits this requirement.

There is a challenge at What Will You Stamp challenge blog.  You are to use

I began with the 2 Christmas designer series papers in the Holiday Catalog.  I chose the Merry Music dsp for my background piece.  It was added to a Whisper White card base.  I then used a striped piece of the Merry Little Christmas dsp and added a piece of the gold washi tape from Sale-abration last year.  This piece of dsp was then added to card base.  Now for my sentiment layer, I took the stamp and inked it up using a Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive marker.  I stamped the image onto Whisper White card stock.  The Everyday Label punch was used to punch out the sentiment.  The sentiment was added to the card base using dimensionals.  Here is my complete Simple Merry Christmas Card.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you today.  It is still supposed to rain today.  WE have needed the rain but it makes it difficult to take good pictures to post.  I hope mine have been okay.  Have a Great Day and take some time today to make your own Simple Merry Christmas Card.
