Stampin’ Up Sponged Die Cuts

Hello Ladies ~ I played with another idea I saw online for my Stampin’ Up, Sponged Die Cuts card.

I have been busy working on craft fair items.  I have made one item and just need to add the designer series paper and cut the hole.  I have also sorted, stamped and bagged my cards.  I have half a bin totally finish, half a bin that needs inside pieces or envelopes and another bin I have not touched.  I will continue to work on them.  I did some punch art pieces but need to put them together.  I still have some more punch art pieces and some more items I need to make the holders for.  I will be busy the next few days.  I can do a lot of the punch art in the evening when the girls are watching TV or after they are in bed.

My card today was inspired by another card I saw online from another company.  I love seeing cards I like and then seeing if I can use our supplies to recreate it.  For this card I had to go looking at my die cuts.  I needed a flower and a leaf vine that I found in Botanical Tags, a leaf spray I found in Frosted Bouquet, and a center for the flower I found in the Flourish thinlits.  Here is the video showing how I created my card.

I want you to see the lights and darks of the sponging so here is a photo of the card front.

Who would have thought that Blueberry Bushel and Smoky Slate would be a great combination for a card. Look at this Stampin' Up Sponged Die Cuts creation and how well the 2 colors look together.

I bet you would love to see some other ideas using sponging.  Check out this Fall Card where the leaves were created by sponging color onto the card stock.  Here is a masculine idea for a seashore card.  And how about this gorgeous background for a daisy.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I will be looking for things for the girls and I to do this weekend.  Hopefully I can find some fun things.  If not I have card games and they have puzzles so we will be good.  Have a Fabulous Friday and I think I may see if I have some other sets that I can C.A.S.E. my Stampin’ Up Sponged Die Cuts creation.
