Hello everyone – the Cold Weather Penguins stamp set has adorable image like the one used for today’s Sweater Weather cute penguin card.

The weather is turning chilly and time to pull out your sweaters. I love bundling up with cozy sweaters, how about you?

Today’s Project

I paired the penguin all bundled up in a scarf and earmuffs with some Mermaid Dreams pattern paper on this card idea.

I chose the colors for my penguin’s scarf and ear muffs based on the pattern paper. The plastic holographic snowflakes came from my stash.

This simple layout is a great way to use 2 different patterns from the same collection. Love the blue background that looks like it is snowing combined with the multicolored circles pattern.

About my card

White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
               scraps for stamping and die cutting
Basic Black – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Azure Afternoon – 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Mermaid Dreams pattern paper – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ – Blue speckled pattern
3″ x 3″ – multicolored dot pattern
