Hello Everyone! Yesterday was quite an adventure for me. I had schedule to go to New Towne Village and do a plastic craft project with the residents there. I started at 10 and at 2 we still hadn’t finished. I thought I had chosen a fairly simple project – a ladybug magnet. The ladies did a great job with what they got finished. I will be going back to finish up in a couple of weeks.
After that I came home and planned on cutting my grass. When I went out to get on the lawnmower, I saw that the tire was flat. I tried pumping it up but the tire would not hold air. I then called the lawn mower repair shop and found out it would be quite expensive for them to come out and take of the tire. The gentleman on the phone said if I could get the tire off it would be much cheaper to fix. So I spent the next hour sitting on the garage floor trying to get the slit pin off to take the tire off. If it had not been for the Fed Ex man delivering some new toys I would probably still be there. He was able to get the pin off and I took the tire to the shop. They have to order a new one since they did not have mine in stock. It is supposed to be there tomorrow and then I have to put the slit pin back on. I am hoping I can do that so I can cut my grass. Oh well, enough with my drama. I know you came to see some cards.
This weekend’s sketch set uses a sketch from Eat Sleep Stamp. Oh by the way, Tracy choose my card from last week to be the Featured Sketch Artist. I am honored as there were some great submissions. I also used the color combinations from Color Throwdown and Colour Create as well as a challenge on Stampin’ B’s blog to create a monocramatic card. The last challenge I was able to work in was from the Belli Challenge Blog which wanted to you to use large eyelets or brads. Here are my creations.
