Turned out bigger than I had planned

It’s the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what are your plans for the weekend? I have my workshop this morning and then I don’t have any other plans. I may do some stamping and I may work on my cross stitching. I have a few projects that I would like to finish so I may try and work on a few of them.

My card today uses the color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments

I combined it with Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.

The image I chose was from Eastern Blooms. I hadn’t played with that set in a while so I thought I would use it. The stamped image was larger than I imagined it would be. After I had the whole image panel assembled it was too large for an invitation size card so I had to custom make my card layer. The finished size is 4 x 7 1/2. It will fit in a business size envelope so it will still only cost 1 stamp to mail.

Here are some more display boards from convention.

I have another card for you tomorrow as well as some more display boards. Hope you will check back. Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

  1. Pretty card. I'm biased though as I love anything wit polka dots. I really need to buy that dotted embossing folder, it adds just the right touch and texture. Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

  2. Hi Robbie,

I love how you used the flower image on the outside and on the inside of the card. Great layout. Thanks for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

  3. Beautiful, bright, fun card. I love the size it is fun to change it up sometimes. Great job as usual, thanks so much for playing along!
