Kaleidoscope Pinwheels

Good Morning!

Well Jess and I basically slept most of the day (she slept more than I did) but we were both lazy all day.  I did make the card I am sharing with you today.

Twice a month I host a chat and challenge at SUDSOL.  I get to choose the challenge.  I am hosting a chat today and I thought it would be fun to think about whether March will come in like a lion or lamb.  Since there is usually wind involved if it comes in like a lion I thought it would be fun to make a card that has something to do with wind.  They could do clouds, pinwheels, windmills, etc.  Anything was acceptable.  I decided to go with the pinwheel idea.  I made my pinwheels using patterned paper.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to do the layout so I went looking for a sketch.  I found one I could use at Clean & Simple

I made 3 different sized pinwheels to go with the 3 different sized hearts.  I love the Kaleidoscope designer series paper so I used it to make my pinwheels.  Here is my creation.

Well the Olympics are winding down but NASCAR is starting up so I will be watching the races on the weekend.  I am also behind on my Downton Abby so I need to get caught up with those shows.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Do you think March will come in like a lion or a lamb?  Have a Sensational Sunday!

  5. Good job. I can't seem to get pinwheels to work. I suppose I need to practice. However, yours are beautiful. Love it.
