Hexagon Circles

Good Morning Everyone!

Well yesterday was productive.  I got one swap finished, my July workshop cards made, and a card to post today and tomorrow.  I also had some time to do some knitting.  I am hoping today is just as productive.

My card today gave me some problems.  I really struggled with the colors.  I am not sure I like the final product so you will have to let me know what you think.

I saw a sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

When I saw the back panel I thought it would fun to use the top note die.  I cut it out and then wanted to add the Hexagon Hive thinlet on top.  After I had them cut and glued together I decided some simple circle flowers would be fun.  I destressed the edges and then add some silver Twink to the edges to give it just a litttle sparkle.  Here is what I ended up with.

I tried several different card bases but could not find one I liked.  What would you have used?

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you enjoy your day today and have something fun planned.  Have a Super Saturday!

  1. Not my favorite…thinking I would use some small flower or dots DSP as a background to make everything come together better….but I understand your idea.

  2. The hexagons over the top note die is a great idea and those flowers are very trendy. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  3. What a great background to use with the sketch! The circle flowers are a nice touch. Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
