Alternative Ideas for the August My Paper Pumpkin

Hello Stampers!

Yesterday I played a little with my current My Paper Pumpkin.  I did not get as much time to play as I had hoped but I was able to make 3 new ideas.

I traced the envelopes and made a template before I put them together so I could recreate those.  I am so glad I did as I am always looking for new envelope ideas.

I had an idea last night in the middle of the night.  I thought I would use the extra laser cut cards as stencils.  I had a layout in my mind from last night so I decided to see where it would take me.  I the Sweet Taffy ds paper and took my colors from the paper.  I also use some of the twine and a sequin that was left from the original kit for this card.  I totally forgot to do the inside and did not realize it until I was taking the picture.  Here is my first idea with the envelope.

The second idea I had was to use one of the mini cut outs and make a shaker card.  I saw a tutorial on SUDSOL to make a quick shaker card that did not need dimensionals I used it for this card.  It was a challenge as the space between the top and bottom edge of the card is not very much.  I am hoping you cannot see the glue very much.  Here is my quick shaker card and envelope.

The last idea is another full card.  I used one of the mini cut out cards and some ds paper to fill in the opening.  I then used the card and created a layer for the full size card.  I embossed the background to tie the 2 together.  I would have used the new star embossing folder but mine won’t get here until Tuesday.  🙁  I also used some sequins from the original kit on this card and I still have some left.  Here is my third card.

I remembered to decorate the inside of this one so here is the inside and the envelope.

I hope you enjoyed my other ideas for the August My Paper Pumpkin kit.  I still have some supplies left so I will playing with it some more and sharing those ideas.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Can you believe tomorrow is September?  Have a Sensational Sunday!

Robbie
