The Paper Plunge Scores

Hello Stampers and Happy Friday!

Wow I don’t know about where you are but it is bitterly cold here.  We are not supposed to break these below freezing temperatures until tomorrow.  I know my heat pump will be glad for the break.

Today is our Challenge at The Paper Plunge.  This week is all about scoring.  We want you to create a project where you used scoring.

I have to admit I made this card in like 10 minutes last night.  It was late and Zoie was having a melt down so I was helping with Remi and then Zoie got jealous so I took Zoie.  It was rough there for about a half hour but we finally got Zoie calmed down and in bed.

I had a piece of cardstock on my table that I had scored a while ago for another card but did not like it for that card.  I pulled it out for this card.  Since the scoring was on a diagonal in the upper left I wanted something for the lower right.  I thought of a flower but them remembered my butterfly thinlits.  I decided to keep it simple and just use colored cardstock with the white panel.  I also actually scored it in 2 places, on the diagonal on the white panel and around the edges of the card base.  Here is my creation.

Make sure you head over to The Paper Plunge blog to see all the scoring the other ladies did.  We would love for you to take the plunge and score with us!

Thanks for visiting me today.  Try to stay warm and spend time crafting today.  Have a Fabulous Friday!

  1. Great job, love plain and simple designs, you rocked it….great all over! Sad to hear about Zoie….reality strikes at the weirdest times! It may take awhile, but she will adjust to this sweet little "intruder" in her young life!
