Coloring Down the Lines – Eclectic

Good Morning Ladies!

I spent a lot of time yesterday working on my Project Life swap.  I am using a picnic theme.  So far I have a picnic table, popsicle, and a slice of watermelon.  I need one more idea.  Can you help me out?  Need something not too hard to reproduce as I have 11 to do and I have already spent a lot of time on the other pieces.  Let me know what you think!

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week our colors were chosen by Helen.

Stampin’ Up color matches

I wasn’t sure what to do with these colors.  I started looking at my stamp sets and then I thought I would use the Kinda Eclectic set.  The reason I went with this was I was thinking I could use the Hello Honey for the sunburst.  I stamped that first.  Then I thought what about using the dots with Night of Navy.  Then I decided to do the leaves in Marina Mist.  Before I knew it my card was done.  The only thing I needed to do was add some Cajun Craze butterflies.  So here is what my final creation looked like.

Are you curious as to what the other ladies created using these colors?  Head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to check out what she created.  I am sure you will have some fantastic eye candy to look at.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be working on my Project Life swap again today.  I am hoping I can finish it up.  I also started one of my pillow gifts yesterday so I am hoping to play with that today also.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. How about a hot dog, or cupcake?

  2. Sweet and elegant – nice use of the colors Robbie!

  3. Love your card, a fun set to play with! You did a great Jon with the color challenge! For your other card, all I can think about is drinks, a couple of velum glasses with lemonade? Best of luck!
