Halloween Week – Card 1

Happy Monday Ladies!

I thought I would use this week to do various Halloween cards and treat holders using the Happy Haunting ds paper.  I have some of this left and I thought about using some of it for some creations this week.

Today I have a card for you.  I began with the sketch challenge at The Paper Players

I decided to use the Howl-o-ween Treat bundle as I wanted to use the hat and spider.  I stamped them and cut them out.  Then I needed a sentiment so I turned to my Seasonal Frame Thinlits and my black glimmer paper to cut out my word.  Next I had to cut a background so I went looking for a patterned paper that would not be too busy for the objects.  I chose to use the plaid.  I cut my strips 1 1/4″ and mounted them on a piece of Basic Black.  I mounted that on a Tangelo Twist card base.  Now I just needed to add my elements and my card was complete.  Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Make sure you come back tomorrow to see what Halloween creation I have for you.  Have a Marvelous Monday!
