Coloring Down the Lines – Sheltering Tree

Hello Stampers!

Well I did manage to get a couple of videos made yesterday.  I am hoping to work my March Paper Pumpkin and make the videos for that.  I am behind and need to get them done.

One of the videos I made was for my card today.  I have new lights and I realized that my placement is not the best so I will be working on that.  I also moved my camera placement and the new placement was not good as my head was in the way in a couple of shots.  So I will be working on that placement also.  I will get it all worked out by trial and error.

Today we have the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  We are still working with our April Showers theme this month.  Here is the picture that inspired our colors.

I have to admit I thought these colors would be easy to work with but when I started I struggled.  I immediately thought of flowers but did not want to use that idea.  I looked through my stamps and thought I would try playing with the Sheltering Tree stamp set.  Since I have a video of the card making I am going to skip all the steps I did.  Here is the video for you.

I hope you enjoyed my video.  Sorry about the head in the way and the other issues I need to address.  I hope to get it better with the next one.  Here is my creation.

I know you are curious as to what the other ladies did with these colors.  Hope on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what her creation is.  Let he and the other ladies know how much you appreciate their efforts!
Thanks for visiting me today.  What are your plans for today?  Make sure you take some time to be creative!  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
