Hello

Hello Ladies ~ A great general card is one that has the sentiment Hello.

Well I survived the 2 workshops yesterday.  Both groups got their project made and enjoyed the classes.  I have another one on Friday Morning and again on Saturday morning.  Sometime over the next 2 days I need to get my cards for my workshop next week made.  I need to come up with some ideas before I can design.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  Our colors this week are bright and cheery.

Since I had to make my card yesterday evening after my workshops I was really struggling for an idea.  I decided to check out my challenge blogs.  I found a fun sketch at The Paper Players

To start I took my white card base and embossed it with the Petal Burst embossing folder.  I then went looking at my washi tape.  Would you believe there is no washi tape in the colors we have to choose from?  Had to rethink that so I decided to look at my designer series paper.  The Festive Birthday paper has the Crushed Curry so I used that for the vertical panel.  I added 2 flagged banners in Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry.  Now I need to do the circle image and the heart image.  I punched a circle from white and then used the Flourish Thinlits to cut out 2 of the smaller flowers.  I layered them and added a large rhinestone in the center.  I popped the circle onto the panel with dimensionals.  To address the heart shape I used a retired 7/8 inch scallop circle punch to punch my Hello.  It is also added with dimensionals.  My card was complete!  Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I saw a sneak peek at the upcoming Holiday catalog yesterday.  Love the paper they shared.  We get another peek today.  Wonder what we will see this time?  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and do you create Hello cards?
