Hello Spring

Happy Monday Everyone ~ I don’t know about you but I am so ready to say “Hello Spring”!

I hope everyone had a great  Easter!  Mine was very quiet and I spent the day uploading my videos for my 10 Minute Creation series to You Tube.  I have videos ready through most of May.  This way I am ready for the next several weeks.  Now I can work on some videos for some of my other cards I make.  Hope you don’t mind all the videos.

Today we have a new challenge at the Make My Monday blog

Embossing (Heat or Dry)

Since we just had an embossing challenge a few weeks ago, I opted to use the heat embossing for this one.  I found a great sketch at  TGIF Challenges that I was going to use for my layout.

I decided to use the retiring set Circle of Spring for the watercolor background image in the sketch.  I stamped it using Versamark and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Using my Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum markers to color in my wreath.  Then I used the Wonderful Wreath framelits to cut out my wreath.  I mounted this onto a Sweet Sugarplum card base using dimensionals.  The sentiment came from Crazy About You.  I am going to miss this set when it retires as I use it a lot.  The ends were flagged and then I mounted it onto a piece of Mint Macaron.  It was added to the wreath on the card with dimensionals.  To finish off my card, I added some Nuvo drops.  Here is my clean and simple creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have a hair appointment today and then I will be writing my posts for the next few days.  Make sure you check out the challenge at Make My Monday blog to get some inspiration!  Have a Marvelous Monday and how would you say “Hello Spring”?
