Fun With Vellum

I saw this idea in Cardmaker Magazine and wanted to give it a try. The original card used transparency which I had started using on the card. The problem with transparency is that water based markers do not dry on it so when I cut my edges with my Fiskars cutting board the ink ended up on my hands. I decided to use the same idea but substitute the vellum for the transparency. While I like the look I would have loved to have created it using transparency. I think I may have to invest in some Copic’s as I have a ton of transparency. Anybody have any other ideas for using transparency film? Send them my way!

Stamps: Sweet Stems, Delight in Life (retired) Paper: Rose Red, white, vellum Ink: Palette Noir Black Accessories: ribbon (Michael’s – Halloween), Garden Green – Regal Rose – Rose Red – So Saffron markers, Fiskars scallop scissors, sticky tape, dimensionals
So what do you think of this card? Isn’t it cute and it was fairly quick to make once I switched to vellum. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
