Chocolate Lemon Pink Sorbet

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Well we are halfway through the week. Is everyone making some great plans for the weekend? I am going to my best friend’s house to spend some time with her. We have not seen each other since before Easter so we have a lot of catching up to do.
Today’s card was really fun to work on. I used the sketch from the Eat Sleep Stamp blog and my colors came from the Colour Create blog. When I started I wanted to use some of my soon to be retired designer papers. I was able to find some Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip designer papers. In my search I discovered I had no paper that used Barely Banana. When I looked in the catalog and even in past retired papers I could not find any that used Barely Banana. Because of that the only Barely Banana is a layer on my image panel. I still like the final product but would have liked to use more of the yellow. Here is the sketch and my creation.

inside of card

Stamps: Wagon Full of Fun Paper: Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, white, Tea Party DS, Bella Rose DS Ink: Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Palette Noir Black Accessories: Fleur de lis punch (EK Success), ribbon (Michael’s), aqua painter, Zots, sticky tape, dimensionals
I am working on something special to go with my rooster cards gift set. I am hoping to finish it up today and post it tomorrow. Check back to see this little bit of gorgeousness! Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
