A card and an update

This is going to be short and sweet when it comes to the card. My creation today uses Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch. The sketch is great for using up some of the designer series paper before it retires so I grabbed my pack of Tea Party. I don’t have much of this left so I think I have done well with this pack. I added a punched flower in the upper corner to tone down the paper. I also added ribbon on the diagonal on the bottom panel. I created a mirror image of the ribbon on the opposite side. Here is the sketch and my creation.

On Tuesday I post I was on my way to the vet surgeon to see if my sweet Papillon puppy would need knee surgery. She did have to have her knee fixed and they actually did it yesterday as they had an opening. I picked her up today and she was so excited to see me. She had to have a lot of her beautiful hair shaved and I am not sure how long it will take to grow back in as their hair grows slowly. She hasn’t begun putting her leg down yet unless she absolutely has to. She also has to wear a collar so she won’t lick her leg. She is so pathetic looking. I took a few pictures of her to add to her scrapbook I am working on. Here is one.
I am going to try and do a card for Friday tomorrow but it will depend on Bijou as I have to watch her closely. Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!
