Coloring Down the Lines – Simple and Elegant

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are able to stay cool in this heat.  I have been staying indoors and playing in my craft room and resting a little here and there.  My back is still bothering me when I stand on it too much or sit too much.  So I have to balance my activity.  I did go for a walk last night.  I did not push it but kept it fun.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  Our colors this week were chosen by me.

Stampin’ Up color matches

I wanted to continue with my coloring Challenge.  Today I decided to do some coloring with my pencils.  I found 2 that matched Blushing Bride and Mossy Meadow so I used them to color my image.

I used that image to make my card today.  I cut the image out with the oval framelits.  I then decided to mount it on a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock that I embossed with the honeycomb embossing folder.  To top it off I added a ribbon using the Mossy Meadow stitched satin ribbon.  Here is what my creation looked like.

So are you ready to see what the other ladies created and what colors they used?  Hope on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate and check out her entry.

Thanks for visiting me today.  It is supposed to be just as hot today as it has been so I will be working in my craft room.  I have a lot to get done.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
