First card for Pocket Letter

Happy Monday Everyone!

Can you believe it is November?  Before long we will be having some snow and Christmas will be around the corner.  I have already started purchasing my gifts as I have to mail Michaela’s out this month.  How about you, have you started yet?

I am a member in a Facebook Pocket Letters group.  They have swaps you can join.  I recently did one where each person chose a letter in various Christmas words that were 9 letters long.  I was in the Merry Xmas group and chose “R”.  I made my card (I had to make 9 of the same card) – 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ – and mailed it in.  I am waiting to get my other letters back.  I will share it with you when I get it.  They are also doing a Christmas Pocket Letter swap where you get a partner and you each create a Pocket Letter to send to the other person.  I decided to give this one a try.

Basically I have to make nine 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ cards and put it in a Pocket Letter holder which is like a baseball card holder.  I thought I would go ahead and get started on the cards and since there was a
Christmas challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges I decided to use my first card for this challenge.  This is just like and Artistic Trading Card (ATC) which I love to do so this was easy for me.  The other advantage is these little cards can be used as a tag on the front of a card and you have a full size card to mail.  Here is one of the cards I will put in my Pocket Letter.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be busy this week making cards to post this week since I am headed out of town on Thursday.  Have a Marvelous Monday!
