Hand Stamped Texture

Hello Stampers!

Can you believe Christmas is next week?  It is fast approaching and will be here before we know it.  I have to find time to wrap some presents.  I did get Michaela’s mailed today and it should be there by the end of the week.  Now I have to get mine wrapped when no one is around!

Today is the challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Our challenge this time is a sketch challenge.

I decided to play with some new goodies from the upcoming Occasions catalog on this one today.  We have some great baker’s twine.  They have a Melon Mambo and Mint Macaron mixed with black.  It is a very soft twine and easy to tie.  I wanted to use it for the tie element.  We also got a great stamp set with lots of grunge type stamps in it called Timeless Textures.  I stamped the flourish image in Crushed Curry for the square element.  I decided my strip across the bottom needed to be some of our new It’s My Party designer series paper stack.  To finish it off I added some fun It’s My Party enamel dots.  Here is what my finished creation.

Make sure you head over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to see the other ladies interpretation of the sketch.  We would love to have you play along with us.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a busy day today so I will be stealing a little bit of time to work on my chap stick holders.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

 Robbie
