Good Morning Everyone ~ If you know me you know I love the color pink and what better way to use it than to make a Pink Thank You card!
Well yesterday we took the girls to the carnival and afterwards we watched the fireworks. Zoie loved riding the rides and Remi enjoyed the sights and sounds. We had a fun evening! Today we are going to relax and enjoy some down time.
I had some time the other day and decided to check out my challenge blogs. I was looking to see if anything appealed to me. I ran across a simple sketch at Create with Connie and Mary that I decided to give it a try.
I went looking through my supplies and knew I wanted to use 2 items. The first was the Pop of Pink ds paper and the other was the Flourish Thinlits. I began by using one of the flowers from the thinlits and cutting it out of Melon Mambo. I then pulled out my Pop of Pink ds paper and found the perfect one to use with it. I layered the ds paper onto Basic Black card stock and mounted it onto my white card base. I originally planned to add the flower flourish onto of the ds paper but when I added a black circle and put it on the card base it popped so I went with that idea. After I had my circle attached to the card front with dimensionals I needed a sentiment. Since I was in need of some Thank You cards I pulled out my Fresh Fruit stamp set and used the sentiment in it. Here is my completed card.
