Watercolor Blooms

Good Morning Ladies ~ are you ready for some Watercolor Blooms today?

Well Jess got a couch yesterday.  They even delivered it last evening.  She was excited about it as now she has a space in her room to sit on something other than her bed.  I also managed to get a card almost finished – I just need to add my sentiment as well as finish my scrapbook class sample for Sunday and sent out the announcement.  If you are not getting my announcements make sure you sign up for my newsletter on the right!

I have been on a watercoloring kick lately.  Since the challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments was a color  challenge I decided to use those colors and do some watercoloring.

I began by choosing my stamp set – Blooms & Wishes.  I then used the colors to stamp the flowers.  After the flowers were stamped I used my aqua painter to color over the ink.  This blends the colors and gives the image a watercolor look.  Once all the flowers are completed, I added my ribbon and then attached my layers.  Here is my completed creation.

Make sure you head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to see how the other ladies used these colors.  I am sure there are some great projects for you to look at.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be cutting for my workshop this evening as well as finishing my card.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and would you like to see a video on how to do the Watercolor Blooms?
