Global Stampers

Hello Everyone ~ The Global Stampers are back!

Well today I am headed home.  It was a short weekend but filled with fun.  Our next adventure will be our beach trip in November!  I will be seeing my friend Barb before that as I will be going to North Carolina before that.

It is time for our Global Stampers shares.  This month we were to use either the Eastern Palace Suite or the new In Colors.  Since I had the Suite I decided to use it.  The patterned paper is from the Suite also and it used the new In Color Tranquil Tide.  Using a card base of Very Vanilla and the Tranquil Tide ink a background was stamped.  A strip of the dsp was cut and mounted onto Tranquil Tide.  This strip was added to the middle of the card front.  Using a square of the Tranquil Tide and the flower framelit I cut it out.  A circle punch was used to add a circle of the dsp in the center.  Using the ring from the stamp set, it was stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder.  The same stamp used for the background was stamped in the center of the ring and embossed with gold.  This was punched out with the 1 3/8 inch circle punch.  The 1 1/2 inch circle punch was used to punch a piece of the Tranquil Tide card stock.  These 2 elements were layered and added to the center of the flower with dimensionals.  Here is my finished creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you today.  I will be sharing more new projects from the other ladies throughout this week so make sure you come back to see them.  Have a Sensational Sunday and do you enjoy the Global Stampers shares?

  2. Robbie, really love the simple design of this card – it is so effective. Would work for any Designer Series Paper. The In-Colors this year are glorious. I am not sure I will be using too many of the other colours.
