Designer Series Paper Mixed Bags – New TRY BEFORE YOU BUY program exclusively through me!

Designer Series Paper Mixed Bags!

Are you wondering what the designer series paper is like ~ what colors are in it, what the patterns look like in person, or how the paper feels?  If you are like me you like to touch it and see it in person to know if it is the paper for your projects.  Would you like to have a sample with coordinating card stock to play with and see what you can create with it?  I have the perfect opportunity for you to “try before you buy”!

True Gentleman Designer Series Paper Mixed Bag

I have created a Mixed Bag of dsp and coordinating card stock that will allow you to create 6 cards using the supplies.  You will get six pieces of double sided designer series paper from the paper collection along with six pieces of card stock cut into card size (5 ½” x 8 ½”).  This will allow you to make 6 cards as well as a chance to play with the paper to find out which one is your favorite.  Along with the paper and card stock I will also send you a pdf of cutting files so you can cut your designer series paper in a variety of ways so you can make different layouts.  Even though the Mixed Bag allows you to make 6 cards you will have scraps left over that you can then use your own paper to create other cards.

Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Mixed Bag

To sweeten this opportunity, I will also include all the colors the paper coordinates with, the stamp set that goes with it if applicable, and any other products that can be used with the paper.

Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper Mixed Bag

This is a perfect deal for someone just starting out as it will show you how to use your dsp in a variety of ways.  If you are a seasoned stamper you can use this offer to check out the dsp to see what the paper is like as you can’t always tell how gorgeous the paper is from a small picture in the catalog.

If you would like to take advantage of this fabulous offer, click Here to see what Mixed Bags I currently have available. And bookmark the page because I will be offering new Designer Series Paper Mixed Bags as new pattern packages become available.

Accented Blooms

Hello Stampers ~ I have been playing with some new products from the upcoming catalog and my project today uses the Accented Blooms and coordinating punch.

Well yesterday I had a list of things I wanted to do and I did not get to any of them.  Jess called me and Zoie had a headache and a fever and was not going to school.  I had her for the day.  Jess dropped her off at my house in the morning and then at lunch time we went to her house as she has toys there.  She took a long nap in the afternoon so hopefully the fever will break this evening.  Since everything I wanted to do was at my house I did not get it completed.  That means today I need to work on the list so that I get it completed.  I need to make sure I get it done as I may have Zoie again on Friday if she is not any better.

I have started playing with my preorder items.  One of the stamp sets I ordered was the Accented Bloom.  It coordinates with the Tailored Tag punch which I have from the Occasions catalog.  I have seen lots of projects where the stamp was stamped using black ink and colored in.  I decided to see if I could color the stamp using markers.  I colored all the flowers and leaves and then stamped it onto my Whisper White panel.  It took a while to color but wasn’t bad.  I also huffed on the stamp to remoisten the ink from my first coloring to make sure I got a good stamping.  I love the way it turned out.  Next I stamped my sentiment using Night of Navy ink and used the coordinating punch to punch it out.  The sentiment was added to the stamped image using dimensionals.  The panel was added to a Night of Navy card base.  To finish off the card I added some rhinestones.  Here is the completed Accented Blooms creation.

Monochromatic Flower Shop from Stampin’ Up

Hello Everyone ~ today I have  Monochromatic Flower Shop from Stampin’ Up card to share with you today.

Well I managed to get a few things done yesterday.  I just was not motivated.  That cannot happen today as I need to start working on my next classes.  I also need to work on some more cards to pack up and ship out and I have to vacuum.  It will be a busy day for me.  I also need to work on my card for my Facebook Live on Friday.  Mark you calendar for Friday, May 25th at 7:00 pm.  I would love to see you there!

For my One Color Wonder this week I got Flower Shop and Early Espresso.  The color was a real challenge this week.  How do you create brown flowers?  I played with some ideas in my head and came up with what I think is a great card.  Here is the video showing you how I created my Monochromatic Flower Shop from Stampin’ Up card.

Petal Palette Bird

Hello Everyone ~ today I have a watercolor pencil Petal Palette Bird creation to share with you.

I did not get anything done yesterday.  I got the house ready for showing and then left to take Bijou to my sister’s.  I got to the hair salon and my stylist was caught in traffic and was going to be late.  I opted to go get a salad and was sitting in my car eating when she pulled in.  My original appointment time was 11:15 and she did not start working on me until 12:30.  By the time I got out I headed down the road.  I had some things to mail so I stopped at the post office and mailed my packages then went to my sister’s to get Bijou.  When I got home I had to go through the house and turn off all the lights.  I was going to work on my clips for my catalogs but I cannot find my paper clips.  I know they are in my craft room somewhere.  I thought I had put them in the box with the catalogs but could not find them.  I will be on the hunt tomorrow for them so I can finish my clips.  If you know where they are, let me know.

Today is the new challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Our challenge this time is a color challenge.

I decided I needed to play with my new toys as they will be available to be ordered at the end of next week.  I chose to use the Petal Palette stamp set as I felt it would work with the colors best.  I began by stamping the leaf spray using Old Olive.  On a scrap of Whisper White I stamped the flower spray twice and the bird using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I used the Watercolor Pencils to color the flowers and the bird.  Once I had them colored, the coordinating framelits were used to cut them out.  I took the leaf stamped layer and using the Detailed Trio punch, I rounded the corners.  I used a layer of Rich Razzleberry a little larger than the Whisper White layer and rounded the corners of it also.  The corners of a Whisper White card base were also rounded.  The 2 layers were attached and then added to the Whisper White Card using dimensionals.  The bird and flower sprays were added to the Rich Razzleberry layers using dimensionals.  The Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon was tied to the end of the mini paper clip from the Share What You Love embellishment kit.  The paper clip was added to the upper right hand corner of the Rich Razzleberry layers.  To finish off the Petal Palette Bird creation some basic rhinestones were scattered on the Rich Razzleberry layer.  Here is the completed creation.

Detailed with Love by Stampin’ Up

Happy Monday Ladies ~ are you ready to see some new products from the new catalog with my Detailed with Love by Stampin’ Up creation.

Well I managed to get all my tasks I had on my list completed.  The house is ready for the showing today.  I will do last minute tasks this morning before I leave.  I think things are picking up so I have a good feeling about this showing.  I have a hair appointment this morning which is perfect for the showing.  Bijou is going to stay at Kay’s while I get my hair cut.  So much to arrange when someone wants to see the house.

I will work on some more cards getting them ready to mail out.  I worked on them some last week so I need to stamp the back and put them in envelopes.  Then I can pack a box and have it ready to mail out.

I played with some new products the other day.  In my preorder I got the Detailed with Love bundle, the Garden Impressions designer series paper, the new polka dot ribbon, and the pearlized doilies.  I decided to play with them and create a card.  I began with the new Garden Impressions designer series paper and paired it with the new Soft Sea Foam card stock.  I chose one of the flowered patterns from the paper stack and mounted it onto Night Of Navy card stock.  I chose the large oval sentiment from the set and stamped it in Night of Navy.  It was cut out using the Stitched Shapes framelits.  I added a half a doily to the right side of the sentiment.  This was then added to the card front using dimensionals.  The designer series paper layer was then added to the lower edge of the card base.  To finish it off I stamped the flower shape using Night of Navy ink.  Here is the completed Detailed With Love creation.

Pansy Punch from Stampin’ Up

Good Morning Ladies ~ today’s card uses the Pansy Punch from Stampin’ Up for a fun card front.

Did you watch the Royal Wedding yesterday?  I totally forgot about it until I ran across it on You Tube where they were live streaming it.  I watched it some but it was after they were married.  It was a very pretty ceremony.  It will be interesting to see what the 2 of them take on to make the world a better place.

Well I managed to get my cabinets oiled, laundry done, and some cards made yesterday.  Today I have some ironing to do, clean up the house, dust the floors, and clean my craft room.  There are some other small tasks I need to do also but I will get them done.  I hope you have some fun plans for today.  I am hoping the rain is over as we have got so much yesterday.  Trees were down and roads were flooded.

For my 10 Minute Creation today I did something different with a punch.  I used some designer series paper and the Pansy Punch to create some select punching.  Here is the video for my Pansy Punch from Stampin’ Up.

You need to see this card up close so here are the photos so you can see the look the punched flowers give the card.
