Christmas Stamps That Can Be Used All Year

Hello Everyone ~ here are some ideas for Christmas Stamps That Can Be Used All Year.

Well Remi went to her dad’s yesterday.  In the morning she had a call with her teacher for the Beginning of the Year Assessment.  It was interesting to see how they did it.  I know how they do it if the kids are in the classroom.  Remi did very well and her teacher is fantastic.  She is what a Kindergarten teacher should be.  She had her cheering after the sections which was cute.  She uses a bunch of different ideas for cheers.  Some of the ones she has the kids do is a Cowboy Cheer and Fireworks Cheer to name a few.  Remi loves her!

Today I have a Facebook Live and then I will work on slowly moving my stuff back into my studio.  I brought a lot of supplies downstairs while the workers were up there.  They finished up yesterday so I did take some things back upstairs and put it away.  I also have to get my cards and videos made for next week.

Would you like to extend your Christmas sets to be used all year?  I went through the Holiday catalog and found these other ideas for some of the stamps.

That cute stocking would make a great baby card.  You can use the first part of the

sentiment “May the Good Times of Today Become the Cherished Memories of

Tomorrow” for the inside of the card.

Dove of Hope

The Dove with a branch in it’s beak would be very pretty for a Sympathy card.  You

can use the word “Peace” for the sentiment.

Fireside Trimmings

This would make a great new home card.  Use the fireplace and some of the

decorative items on the mantle.  The sentiment “From Our Home To Yours” is the

perfect sentiment.

Tree Angle

Use the tops of the trees to stamp down the side or along the bottom for a decorative

element.  The flowers and ovals could be used to make backgrounds.

Coming Home

This is another set that could be for a new home.

Merry Moose

The packages can be used for Birthday’s.  The moose and raccoon could be used for the

guys for hunting season.  The Moose could also be used for Winter.

Snow Wonder

The trees and snowman would make great Winter cards.  You can mask the stamp to

use “Joyful Greetings.”

Warm and Toasty

Wouldn’t that cute skating polar bear a great card for a skater?

In The Pines

These trees would be great for a sympathy card.  It even has the “Thinking of You”

sentiment.

Simple Dandelion Wishes

Hello Everyone ~ today’s card is a fun one as I used an embossing folder and a stamp set with the same image for my Simple Dandelion Wishes creation.

I did not get my 2 projects done that need to be mailed out.  Remi had a half day so when she finished her work she wanted to go to the pool.  The water was cold so we didn’t stay long.  I decided since she did not get long to stay in the pool I would get take out for dinner.  We did Chipotle.  She loves it and so do I.  After dinner I had my Zoom.  Remi was my guest stamper.  She had a blast creating her card with the ladies.  She colored her own image using her markers.  She was so proud of herself.

Today she has school again and then we have to meet her dad as she and Zoie are spending the week with him.  It has been great having them these past 2 weeks but it has really put me behind.  I am hoping to be able to catch up over the weekend.  I will work on the projects I need to get mailed out and hope to mail them on Monday.  A lot will depend on whether I can get in my studio this weekend.

I love the fact that the Dandelion 3D embossing folder coordinates with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.  I have used them together a few times.  Today’s card is another idea for those products.  I enjoyed playing with the embossing folder and just had to use Wink of Stella on the dandelion heads.  Here is the video for my Simple Dandelion Wishes card.

Features of the Card

  • Dandelion Wishes
  • card base ~ Whisper White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black ~ 3 7/7″ x 5 1/8″    and   3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″
  • So Saffron ~ 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Whisper White ~ 3″ x 3″

This embossing folder is perfect for this stamp set. Get the details and see the video for the Simple Dandelion Wishes creation.

Pool Party Snowflake Wishes

Hello Everyone ~ the Pool Party Snowflake Wishes is another card that did not make my online class.

Yesterday was crazy.  I had so much going on and did not get everything done I needed to.  I will be working on a few projects I need to get finished so I can mail them out.  Remi only has a half day do we are going to the pool in the afternoon.  Not sure she will do much swimming as I am sure the water will be pretty chilly.  She is excited so I am sure no matter how cold the water is she will get in the water.

She has been a delight to have this week.  We have played a lot of card games and I came up with a game to help her with her sight words.  She loves playing it and she had learned her words for this week.  I did a bunch of other sight words that Jess can add as she needs to.  There are some blank cards also in case I missed any of the basic words she needs to know.

I have a great snowflake card to share today.  There are some great products in the Snowflake Splendor Suite.  I have had so much fun playing with all the products in this collection.  My card today is one that I decided not to include in my upcoming Inspiration in the Mail.  It is a really pretty card and I love playing with this color for snowflakes.  Here is my Pool Party Snowflake Wishes creation.

In Good Taste Lucky Friend

Hello Everyone ~ I used a new pattern from the pattern paper pack for my In Good Taste Lucky Friend creation.

We had a successful online school day yesterday.  Remi got all her work completed and we played several card games.  I also worked a little on a couple of projects.  She loves to play memory and she is really good at it.  There are about 40 cards in the deck and she is so good at remembering where the matches are.  She beat me every game we played.

Today she has school again.  I have some workers coming also.  The weather is going to warm up today.  The water at the pool may still be a little too cool.  I am hoping it is warm enough to go for a bit on Thursday.  If not we will go pick up lunch somewhere.  We may go out after her last call and see if we can do a little shopping.  It will depend on the weather.

Those who know me know I love to combine dies to create fun elements.  On today’s In Good Taste Lucky Friend card I used the Painted Labels dies to create my sentiment element.  I used it with some designer series paper for a clean and simple card.  Here is the video for my In Good Taste Lucky Friend card.

Features of my Card

  • Heartfelt
  • Swirly Frames
  • card base ~ Night of Navy – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Night of Navy ~ 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″    and     scrap
  • Whisper White ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″    and     scrap
  • In Good Taste dsp ~ 1″ x 5 1/4″
  • Champagne rhinestones
  • Painted Labels dies

Layering dies is a great way to extend your supplies. The In Good Taste Lucky Friend card uses that idea for the sentiment layer. Great way to create a clean and simple card.

Snowflake Wishes in Highland Heather

Hello Everyone ~ my Snowflake Wishes in Highland Heather is a sneak peek for my next Inspiration in the Mail ~ online class.

Well it was interesting with Remi and her online class.  She has a dashboard with all her subjects and assignments.  There is also a daily schedule there.  It is so much easier than trying to navigate Zoie’s.  There was only one mess up when I couldn’t get logged in for her Art class.  Jess called and walked me through it.  It was the same procedure as Zoie used to log into her meetings.  I had totally forgotten it ~ 3 days and I could not remember it.  lol

Today is supposed to be another chilly day so we will be just hanging around the house.  She has a full day with not much time to do anything else.  She may have a short day tomorrow and if she does we may head out and try to find her some flip flops.  Her mom could not find hers to send down so she can wear them to the pool.  She is going on vacation to the beach with her dad last week so we will see if we can find some.

I had so much fun over the weekend playing with the products from the upcoming Inspiration in the Mail ~ online class.  You are going to love this class!  I created so many cards that I have a few I can share with you to show you how beautiful these products are.  Today’s card is one of those cards.  I love the snowflakes in this set!  They are such pretty designs.  They also were perfect for creating depth.  I also think the sentiments are very versatile as my card today is a friendship card.  Check out my Snowflake Wishes in Highland Heather creation.

Features of the Card

  • Snowflake Wishes
  • card base – Highland Heather – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″    and    1 1/4″ x 2 5/8″
  • Whisper White ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″    and    1 1/8″ x 2 1/2″
  • Silver metallic edge ribbon
  • rhinestones
