Small Bloom Punch Clean and Simple Idea

Hello Everyone ~ I have a video to show you how to make this Small Bloom Punch Clean and Simple Idea.

I love the Small Bloom punch.  It is so versatile for make simple cards.  You can punch it out of any color to make your card for what ever season you want.  It can be paired with other larger stamps and be used as an accent flower.

Punching it out of patterned paper adds some fun designs to your card.  Can you see a posy bouquet on a card front with lots of these cute flowers?  That would be cute with some patterned flowers sprinkled in.

Today’s card uses 3 of the punched flowers in Fall colors for a great Thinking of You card.  Check out the video showing how I made the Small Bloom Punch Clean and Simple Idea.

This card is a great Thinking of You idea. Take some punched flowers and stamped images and you have the Small Bloom Punch Clean and Simple Idea.

Bloom and Grow Glycerin Coloring

Hello Everyone ~ my technique share is a Bloom & Grow Glycerin Coloring card.

The Bloom & Grow stamp set is the perfect set to use for coloring.  There are many ways to color it but my favorite way to color an image is to use glycerin, your ink pad, and a blender pen.  I love using this technique as it gives an even coverage of your image.

Minimal supplies are needed for this idea.  You would need a blank clear block, some glycerin you can get in the pharmacy department of your store, an empty blender pen, and your ink pads.  I use Memento Tuxedo Black ink and do not have issues with it bleeding.  Here is my Bloom & Grow Glycerin Coloring video so you can see the technique.

Features of the Card

  • Bloom & Grow
  • card base ~ Cherry Cobbler – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Bumblebee ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Garden Green ~ 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • Whisper White ~ 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Holiday Rhinestone basic jewels
  • Empty blender pen

Check out the soft even coloring on the Bloom and Grow Glycerin Coloring card. The video shows how you can use this technique to get even coloring on your cards.

Cute Stampin’ Up My Friend Card

Hello Everyone ~ I played again with the Halloween paper and created this Cute Stampin’ Up My Friend Card.

Did you know you can use Halloween designer series paper for All Occasion cards?  The Magic in this Night designer series paper has a pattern that has flowers in Fall colors.  This paper is great for All Occasion cards.  I love the fact that Stampin’ Up’s designer series paper is double sided.  You can usually find one side that you like.  The paper is also a good quality weight and not flimsy which means makes a great layer for you card front and you can’t see through it.

I have quite a few die sets that are not meant for a certain stamp set.  I love using these to add an element to my card.  On today’s card I used a star swirl to add a fun embellishment to the all occasion card.  These stars are great for birthday’s also.   They add the perfect splash of fun on the card front.  Check out the video for my Cute Stampin’ Up My Friend Card.

Features of the Card

  • Ornate Thanks
  • card base ~ Whisper White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Pretty Peacock ~ 2 5/8″ x 3 5/8″
  • Gold Foil ~ scrap
  • Magic in the Night dsp ~ 2 1/2″ x 3 1/8″
  • Ornate Borders dies
  • Stitched Stars dies

Isn't this a fun whimsical card? That star spray is perfect to celebrate someone. Check out the video for the Cute Stampin' Up My Friend Card idea.

Peony Garden Gate Fold Card

Hello Everyone ~ I have a pretty Peony Garden Gate Fold Card to share with you today.

Have you seen the Peony Garden designer series paper?  It is gorgeous!  I love the pink and gray color combination used in the paper as they are two of my favorite colors to design with.  The paper has beautiful peony flowers on it that look like pencil drawings with the lines and shaded used to draw them.  There are also some background style patterns like marble and speckles.  They are perfect for designing your cards.

The coordinating bundle has dies to cut out some of the images and other dies that enable you to make a 3D peony flower for your card front.  Lots of options with this bundle.  Order yours from my online store so you can make fabulous cards to send to your friends.

I opted to do a fancy fold with this card.  I used a gate fold card but designed it in the landscape position rather than the portrait position.  To add some interest I create a medallion for the center using the stamp set.  Here is the video for the Peony Garden Gate Fold Card.

Details of my Card
