Feels Like Frost Merry Christmas

Hello Everyone ~ you know I had to make at least a few Holiday cards with this gorgeous paper so here is my Feels Like Frost Merry Christmas creation.

The water was very cold yesterday.  I was glad when the class was over.  Not looking forward to the next few weeks unless it warms up again.  What made it even worse was there was a breeze so if you were wet and not in the water up to your neck, you were cold from the wind.  After the class I had a massage so it was nice to be on a warm table.  I did spend some time in my studio in the afternoon and got my card for today, Jess’ birthday card, and the Facebook Live card created.  I will be sharing some Inchie Fun tomorrow evening.  Look for Creations in Paper in Facebook and join us on the group page at 7:30 pm.  I would love to see you there.

I have a Holiday card to share with you today.  The paper that I chose was perfect for a Christmas card so I went shopping in my stash and found the perfect set.  I took the piece of designer series paper and cut it down to panel size ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″ ~ so fit on my card base.  The sentiment was in the set and I inked it up with a marker since I only wanted part of the sentiment.  I stamped it in the lower right hand corner of the designer series paper.  Tear & Tape was used to attach a strip of Silver metallic edge ribbon on the lower portion of the designer series paper.  This panel was then added to the Night of Navy card base.  A strip of the ribbon was used to tie a know around the strip of ribbon.  Here is the completed Feels Like Frost Merry Christmas creation.

Magnolia Blooms with Feels Like Frost dsp

Hello Stampers ~ I thought you might like to see a thank you card using Magnolia Blooms with Feels Like Frost dsp today.

The Stamp-a-stack was very successful.  the participants loved the cards and each went home with 12 cards ready to be mailed for the holiday.  Now I will work on the next set for the class next month.  I think I am going to order the Perfectly Plaid bundle so we can make some trees.  I have lots of other sets so I may just look and see what I can come up with for cards for next month.  After the class I went shopping to pick up a few things from Wal-mart.  I also did some laundry.  Today I have water aerobics and then a massage!  I am looking forward to the massage.

I have another Feels Like Frost dsp card today.  This one uses the Magnolia Blooms stamp set to stamp a Thank You card.  I also had to use Calypso Coral since this is for my 10 Minute Creation series.  Here is the video for my Magnolia Blooms with Feels Like Frost dsp creation.

Isn’t it a great idea to add a triangle of the designer series paper on the side?  Here is the photo so you can see the details.

Feels Like Frost Santa’s Sleigh

Hello Everyone ~ I am in love with my Feels Like Frost Santa’s Sleigh creation today.

I got my cauldron!  I am so excited as I know how I want to decorate my front porch ~ did you see my post yesterday to see what it looks like this month? ~ and I wanted a cauldron.  Barb found me a plastic one at Michael’s.  We went today to pick it up and then go to lunch.  I also found some other things that were on sale that I got.  I have everything I need for next month’s front porch decorating.  Not sure what I am going to do in November, got any ideas?

I am super excited about today’s card using the Feels Like Frost designer series paper.  I love how this one turned out!  I took a piece of the Sparkle glimmer paper and cut out the center since my designer series paper was going on top.  I cut the Feels Like Frost dsp pattern down to fit on top of the glimmer paper and added it using glue dots.  This layered panel was attached to a Night of Navy card base.  The deer from the retired stamp set Santa’s Sleigh was stamped on Crumb Cake using Early Espresso ink.  I used a Basic Black marker to color the hooves and a white gel pen to color the tail.  I do not have the dies for this set, so I fussy cut it out.  I need to play with my Cameo so I can then just run this through the machine and have it cut it out.  The deer was then added to the card front using dimensionals.  The sentiment came from the same set and was stamped using Night of Navy.  The Ornate frames dies were used to cut out a Night of Navy layer.  The sentiment was attached to the shape and then added to the card base using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Feels Like Frost Santa’s Sleigh creation.

This gorgeous paper is perfect for creating a winter scene. Add a forrest animal and you have a perfect card. Check out the Feels Like Frost Santa's Sleigh creation for an idea.

10 Minute Feels Like Frost

Hello Stampers ~ a quick 10 Minute Feels Like Frost creation is the card for today.

I was a busy bee until the party yesterday.  I blew off all the pine needles on my driveway ~ they stain the driveway when they get wet so I try to keep it clear.  I also finished putting the leaves on my porch decoration.  I love how it looks.  Here is a photo of the corner.

After that I worked on all the baby blankets for Michaela.  I have a hem in all of them and now they are ready to have the blanket stitch added.  That was all I was able to accomplish before I had to leave.  Today we are headed to the outlets to do some shopping.  I have a few things I want to look for but not much.  Hopefully I will have success with what I am looking for.

Are you ready for another 10 Minute Creation idea?  I ran into a problem with this one so it was a little longer than 10 Minutes but I made the mistake and tell you how to fix it so you don’t make that mistake so it will take you less than 10 minutes.  Here is the video for my 10 Minute Feels Like Frost creation.

Isn’t this a great card?  Here is the photo so you can see it better.

Do you have 10 Minutes you can use to make a card? This 10 Minute Feels Like Frost idea is the perfect idea. Check out the video to see the steps.
