Happy Wednesday!
I have tried to do the 15 minute challenge at Stamp-a-holics when I can. I think it is fun but I rarely even finish my project within the time frame. Today’s card was no exception. I always start with good intentions but for some reason something goes wrong and it messes up my time. Oh well, it is a challenge to me anyway.
This week was an inspiration challenge. We had this beautiful picture as our inspiration.
I saw the colors Daffodil, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Bravo Burgundy. I wanted to create a silhouette type image for the card so I stamped my image from Just Believe in Staz-On Black. Next I started with my Daffodil and I tried sponging on the color. This was not giving me the intensity I wanted so I switched to my sponge daubers. This was better but I had to be careful to avoid the circle you get if you press to hard when you have inked your dauber. I continued with the Daffodil until I was happy with my color.
Next I used Pumpkin and used the same procedure. When I was happy with the color I repeated with Cajun Craze and then finally with Bravo Burgundy. When I was done it still seemed to need something to me so I used my Black and the procedure to apply color to the corners.
I think I need to practice more on my sponging as my colors don’t blend very well. If anyone has any hints I would welcome them. Here is my creation.

I actually like the inside better than the outside. 🙂 Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

I like the way the image is showing in sillouette against the background. Thanks so very much for playing with our challenge this week.
