The first card I have for you today is one of my workshop cards from last week. The layout I used is one that is very popular with this set that I found on Splitcoast. I also found the cool snow idea on this card and modified it for my card. I decided to place the image pieces on a Night of Navy layer to make everything pop. I love how this card turned out. Here is my creation and the inside.
My second card today uses Amy’s sketch 54. I had this image I had stamped from my sister’s stash of Penny Black stamps. I had it colored so it was just a matter of choosing paper and putting the card together following the sketch. I wanted to use a Cuttlebug embossing folder I had from last year and never used. I cut my strip and embossed the strip but wanted the words to pop so I sponged on Whisper White craft ink. I also sponged the edges with Real Red to make the white less harsh. I had made an embossed strip that was too small so I decided to cut it up and use some of the words inside for a different look. I love this card! Here is the sketch, my inside, and the beautiful creation.
