Good Afternoon Everyone!
Today begins the second round of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
I love this challenge as it pushes me to try some different coloring ideas. I ran across a technique the other day that gave some awesome finished products so I decided to try it.
The technique is called “Caught in Crystal”. The technique is done with alcohol inks but I like to see if I can create the same effect using our supplies. I think this would have been better as I learned some things along the way.
I should have used more Crystal Effects. I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out so I always err on the less side. I also forgot to add my glitter before putting the tissue paper down. That bummed me out as I really like the glitter effect. Finally I think my tissue paper should have been smoother as to me there is just too much texture. Don’t be surprised to see me do this again within this 30 Day Challenge. Here is my take on this technique using our inks.
