Hand Stamped Snow

Hello Stampers!

Well whatever could go wrong yesterday went wrong.  My kitchen faucet broke so I have no water in the kitchen.  I was hauling water from my bathroom into the kitchen to do dishes from dinner.  I have someone coming today to put the new one I bought in.  I have towel racks in the my master bath to fix as the builder did not put them up correctly.  I still have a ton of stuff to get straight in the house.  Last night Jess had the dryer apart as she was cleaning the lint trap and a ton of lint fell back down the tunnel.  And to top it off I was rewinding my show while trying to help her, my dvr froze.  I have no idea what is going on with all the bad luck I have had lately but I am getting a little overwhelmed with all of it.

Today is the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  When I looked at this sketch to work on my card I was surprised as it was very similar to the one from yesterday.  That posed a problem in making sure I did an entirely different card.

Since I had made a Christmas card yesterday I thought I would use some of the All is Calm designer series paper and make a winter card.  I pulled out the paper and decided to use the silver and white snowflake paper.  Then I used the snowflake and word from the Snowflake Card thinlit die for the card.  To finish off the card I added a strip of Soft Sky seam binding.  Here is my version of the sketch.
