Happy Friday Everyone!
I am so ready for the weekend. I have been dragging all week so it will be nice to sleep in a few days.
Today is our Paper Plunge challenge. This week we had a watercolor challenge. I love to watercolor so I decided to do something a little different. Many people would have stamped an image and watercoloring it. I decided to do some watercolor backgrounds.
I took some watercolor paper and painted it with water. I put some reinker in the lid of my stamp pad. Using an aqua painter I picked up some of the reinker and touched the paper. The water spread the reinker. I continued in this manner until I was happy with the paper. I then set it aside to dry. My original plan was to use the paper as a background. I had an idea to try stamping on it and then punching it out. I played with this and I used the Flower Shop, Papillon Potpourri, and Petite Petals and stamped on the paper. Here is a picture of the paper with the stamping before I punched it.
I need to play with it some more as I get the dark splotches. I think it would be better if I used the side of the aqua painter rather than just touching the tip to the paper. After I had my images stamped I punched them out and created my card. Here is my final creation.

I am sure there are some awesome samples from the design team for this challenge. Head on over to The Paper Plunge blog to check out the other creations.
Thanks for visiting me today. I am hoping to spend some time creating cards for my blog for the next week. Have a Fabulous Friday!
