Coloring Down the Lines – Merry

Hello Stampers!

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather.  It has been gorgeous here – cool temps and no humidity.  I love this time of year.  It is perfect weather as far as I am concerned.

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  I am the beginning of the hop.  This week I chose the picture.

Stampin’ Up colors

I love daisies so I was drawn to this picture.  I saw a sketch on Clean & Simple that I wanted to use.

I thought I would use the greens and the Melon Mambo to see what I could do.  When I looked at the greens I thought of trees.  I pulled out my Festival of Trees set and stamped them across the middle of the card stock.  To add the Melon I used the bird for the little circles.  I needed to add a sentiment.  I saw a card where someone had stamped the sentiment  on vellum.  I decided to try that also.  I thought the card had a Christmas feel so I pulled out my Project Life Holiday Cheer set and used it.  When it was finished I had to decide what color to mount it on.  I think the finished card is very cute.  It is also very easy to mass produce.  Here is my creation.

Are you ready to see what the other ladies on the hop made?  Head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see her creation.  I am sure you will enjoy it.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Have you created anything with this set?  It would be fun to see what you created using this set.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
