Hand Stamped Sentiments – color challenge

Hello Everyone!

We are in for another cold snap.  Not sure how cold or how long.  I am hoping it is not that cold and short lived.

Today is the challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.     This week we had a color challenge.

I wanted to practice some of the things I have learned in my Clean and Simple class.  I decided to try some of those ideas out on my card today.  I pulled out some of my designer series papers for 2 of the colors.  I saw a flower similar to the one I used on Pinterest.  I wanted to use some of the cork pieces that came in the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack so I decided to use it on my flower.

I wanted to add some interest so I added some score lines in the upper left hand corner.  Here is my final creation.
