Hello Stampers!

What is on your agenda for today?  I am babysitting Zoie again.  Jess had to go into work and then they are having the final inspection on Wednesday.  They they will be done completely.  I never realized how much they go through each time they are reassigned to a new base.  It is very involved.  I am hoping Zoie will take a nap as I will need to make my card for the blog hop on Wednesday. 

This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a color challenge.

I was not sure how I was going to use these colors.  I did not want to do a Christmas card as I felt I needed a break.  I went looking at my stamp sets and remembered the little skating bird from For the Birds.  I have to admit that in this set I have hardly used any of the other images.  I also had not used my Chevron background stamp recently and I love it so I wanted to use it on this card also.  Here is what I created with both of these sets.

Notice my envelope?  That is another one of the Magic Envelopes.  I love making the envelopes out of my retired ds paper.  I am slowly working my way through my stack.
