Something very different

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I am not sure how you are going to react to my card today.  I saw a fun technique I wanted to try and began with that.  Once I had the technique finished I had to put my card together.  That was harder than I thought.

I started with the brick wall technique at Technique Time Tuesday.  I used a stamp from Serene Silhouettes.  I stamped it using Always Artichoke on River Rock.  The directions for the technique on the blog said to stamp it again using Versamark and use clear embossing powder.  I added some Always Artichoke also and I think it would have looked better if I had just used the Versamark.

Once I had my brick wall completed I needed a sketch so I went looking and found one at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday

Here is what I created using these 2 challenges.

So what do you think?  It is definitely different from my usual style.  Let me know what you think.  Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!
