Good Morning ~ Do you like dry embossing?
Well I lucked out. Remi went to her grandmother’s yesterday and I was able to get all my videos made (still need to edit and save to my external hard drive and then upload to You Tube) and made my Casing the Catty card for later this week! I was glad to get so much done yesterday. Today I have some appointments and then a workshop. I will then work on my videos.
We have a sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments .
While I tried to play with the sketch the way it was but was not having any luck. I decided to flip it to fit my needs. I used a Tangerine Tango card base that was dry embossed with the Brick Wall embossing folder. The image was stamped using Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi ink. A strip of Wild Wasabi card stock was added behind the image. The gold glimmer paper was added to the left hand side of the image. Dimensionals were used to attach the image panel to the card front. Both sets of butterfly thinlits were used to create the butterfly element. To address the banner I stamped a sentiment from Thoughtful Banners. It was added to the butterfly using dimensionals. Here is my completed creation.

Robbie….I have followed your crafting progress since the time you decided you were going to stamp one card a day. I am a fellow demo and I just had to tell you that I really like your style. I
enjoy waiting to see what you will come up with next. The Brushstrokes card on Sudsol is great!
Robbie,
Your cards are always so pretty. I like you used the glimmer paper for sparkle. Great take on the sketch.
so clever to put the sentiment on the bitty butterfly! So pretty!
