Late Night Techno – Secret

Happy Monday Ladies!

This week will be very busy for me.  I am in the middle of student teacher observations so things are busy.  I worked this weekend to get ahead with with some cards to post this week so I should be in good shape.

This week our challenge at Late Night Stampers is all about Spring.  We were to use flower stamps.  I have a ton of flower stamps so the key for me was choosing the one I wanted to use.

Over at Techno Stamper we have a great sketch to use.

I have to say my card did not turn out like I had planned it.  I originally had stamped the flowers all over the background in different colors.  I was then working on the images for the strip and the strips.  I kept looking at the background piece and I did not like it.  It was not the look I wanted.  I then decided to switch gears.  I tried stamping the flowers in black and then laying down blobs of color.  I liked the look of this better so I went with it.  Here is what I created using both challenges.

I hope you will think about playing along with both of our challenges.  We love seeing what you do with our challenges.  Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
