Hello Stampers ~ My Dry Embossing Whole Lot of Lovely card has also included my favorite – Bling!
I am still trying to recuperate from the long drive back. It took us 13 hours. We hit stop and go traffic from Charleston to Raleigh so it took a long time. Once we hit Raleigh 95 opened up and we were able to make good time. We got home about 9:30 last night. We were all tired and slept in this yesterday morning. We went to bed early last night in hopes of trying to make up some of the lost sleep. Today I have to pick up a prescription and I want to get my car washed and vacuum out the inside. I need to get rid of the salt water on it and I think there is about 10 pounds of sand inside.
The card I am sharing today is one of my favorite ones I have made recently. I think it is just the colors that seem to speak to me. I love black and pink and this Whole Lot of Lovely dsp has some great black background papers. I began with a card base of Powder Pink that I embossed with the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder. I cut a rectangle from the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and attached it to the card front using Tear & Tape. Another rectangle was cut out of the Whole Lot of Lovely dsp and added using glue dots. The flowered ends were colored with markers and stamped on the Whipser White. My sentiment came from Oh So Eclectic and was stamped between the flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black. The coordinating punch was used to punch out the sentiment layer. The sentiment layer was added to the card front using dimensionals. Here is my Dry Embossing Whole Lot of Lovely card!
