The Mountains featuring Stampin’ Up Pick a Pattern dsp

Hello Everyone ~ The mountains are very relaxing to visit and my card today highlights The Mountains featuring Stampin’ Up Pick a Pattern dsp.

I hope you all have some fun plans for today.  This is your chance to send Summer out with a bang!  Call your friends and plan an impromptu barbecue.  You will all have a great time!  A great way to end the Summer and get ready for the hectic back to work and school routine.

Our challenge this time at Make My Monday is all about the children.  We were to make a card

                                             For a Child

I really had to dig deep for this one as I do not have any stamps for children that are current.  I then remembered the great dsp in the Annual Catalog that had the mountains and other animals on it.  I pulled this paper out and found the images I could use.  Then using my scissors I cut out the mountains, the bear, and the moose.  I was ready to layer my card.  I began with a Crumb Cake card base and added a strip of the dsp down the side.  The Stitched Shapes framelits were used to cut an Emerald Envy circle.  I then added the cut outs to create a little scene.  Here is my completed creation – a visit to The Mountains featuring Stampin’ Up Pick a Pattern dsp.
