Halloween Treat Holder

Happy Friday Stampers ~ This is such an easy Halloween Treat Holder to make.

Yesterday I managed to get a few of my tasks completed.  I had a workshop in the morning and when it was over I made my video for Sunday and put together my samples for my World Card Making Day event.  I still have a few more samples I want to do and then I will be ready for Saturday.  I also have my projects made through Monday so I can get the last of my samples prepped.

Each month at my monthly workshop I do a little treat for my ladies who attend.  They love getting the treat as many have had a stressful day and need the fun chocolate before they start stamping.  This Halloween Treat Holder is very easy to make and uses NO adhesive.  It is called the diaper fold for those of you who recognize it.  I took a square of designer series paper – I used a 6″ x 6″ piece.  Take your paper and fold one point to the opposite point.  You now have a triangle.  Keep the folded edge at the bottom and take the left point and fold it over to the right hand side of the triangle making sure to keep the top edge of the folded piece horizontal.  Now take the right hand point and fold it over to the left hand side of the triangle making sure to keep the top edge of the folded piece horizontal and lined up with the other folded piece.  At the top you have 2 pieces of paper.  Separate the papers and take the top piece and fold it down over the folded points.  This forms a pocket and locks the folded pieces in place.  To decorate my holder, I stamped the sentiment from Labels to Love on Very Vanilla with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I also stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla with Pumpkin Pie ink.  Using the Pumpkin Pie stamped one, cut out the sentiment so that it will fit on the black stamped one with the frame around it.  Attach the Pumpkin Pie piece to the black piece with glue dots.  I added a strip of black lace behind the sentiment layer using Tear & Tape.  The sentiment layer was attached to the treat holder using a mini paper clip.  Here is my completed treat holder.
