Late Night Stampers – gift card holder

Happy Monday Everyone!

This week at Late Night Stampers our challenge is all about gift giving.  This week we are to make a gift card holder/money holder.  I had a friend send me a really easy gift card holder and I loved the look so I decided to recreate my version.

It begins with a piece of cardstock that measures 4 1/4″ by 11″.  You score it at 2 3/4″ and at 5 1/2″.  Fold the cardstock on the 5 1/2″.  Open the card back up and take the side with the 2 3/4″ score and fold it towards the middle of the card.  Take a circle punch and punch a half circle out of the part you just folded back.  Apply sticky tape to each side and attach the 2 sides.  This forms the pocket for the gift card on the inside.  Add your sentiment and decorate the front and it is done.  Here is what I created.

Hope you enjoyed my gift card holder.  Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
