Happy Monday Ladies ~ the Everyday Label You’re the Best from Stampin’ Up can create a fun card.
Today I am headed to North Carolina. The weather there should be a little warmer than it is here. I am so glad the freezing weather finally broke. Hopefully we won’t have any more of the frigid weather for this season. I have a 6 hour ride ahead of me. I do fine for the first couple of hours but then the songs start to repeat. The worst part is from south of Richmond to the North Carolina Visitor’s Center. There is nothing and the time seems to drag by. That is when I usually have my friend call me and we chat for a little to break it up. Once I leave the North Carolina visitor’s center there is a lot of more choices at the exits. The only good thing is the speed limit ~ 70 miles an hour.
Today I am sharing a card I made using the Label Me Pretty bundle. I thought I would take the decorative outline and the flower spray and create a fun background. I first stamped the outline all over the card staggering the placement to avoid a straight pattern. After I had the outline stamped, I then used the flower spray and stamped it in between the outlines. I had some retired Bermuda Bay mini stitched ribbon so I added 2 strips on the lower portion of the background panel. My background is complete so I attached it to the card base. The outline stamp was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White and fussy cut. The coordinating punch was used to punch out the shape from Bermuda Bay. The 2 were then layered. The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White and then punched with the 1 1/4″ circle punch. The 1 1/2″ circle punch was used with Basic Black and then the circles were layered. The sentiment was added to the shaped piece using dimensionals. The sentiment element was then added to the card front using dimensionals also. Here is my completed Everyday Label You’re the Best from Stampin’ Up.

Stampin’ Up supplies used for my creation
Hadn’t thought of using the stamp set like that. Cool. Have to give it a try.
I am always looking for ways to use my supplies in different ways to extend their versatility! Glad you liked it.
