Happy Monday Everyone ~I used some frames on my Stampin’ Up Rose Wonder Perfect Day card today.
Well I am really tired today. Remi did not sleep well on Saturday night and I am still trying to catch up. I will be working in the bedroom upstairs, listing some more stamp sets for sale, and playing with some card ideas. I will take it easy and not get up early so I can catch up on some of the sleep I missed out on this past weekend. I want to get more of my boxes organized and I need to work in the garage so I can move some of my bins out there. I think it will help to move out the bins that are packed.
We did have a busy weekend. We blew some bubbles, played on the swings, made an Easter wreath for my front door, and did some stamping. Here are some photos of our time together.
My card today was inspired by a sketch and card I saw online. I ended up combining the 2 for my idea. I needed some colors so I chose to use the color challenge at Create with Connie & Mary .
Now that I have my colors and my layout idea I am ready to create my card. I began by cutting out a Basic Black frame using the 2 largest Stitched Shapes framelits. I also cut out a Pool Party Stitched Shape using the next to the largest framelit. I added the 2 squares to the card base with the Pool Party one towards the bottom on the lower right. I then added the Basic Black frame to the card on a diagonal overlapping the upper left hand corner of the Pool Party square just slightly. I used a sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms and the Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp it inside the Basic Black frame. The Rose Garden thinlits were used to cut out my flower from Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum card stock. The leaves were cut out of vellum. I added the leaves using glue dots and the flowers were added using dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To finish off the flowers, rhinestones were added to the center of each flower. Here is the completed Stampin’ Up Rose Wonder Perfect Day card.

Great memories with Remy! She is such a cutie!
Love the card. I haven’t used that stamp set and dies enough.
It was fun with Remi! She is so like Zoie in her crafting, has a mind of her own! Thanks again for always commenting.
