Good Morning Everyone ~ ready for a Stampin’ Up Colorful Seasons Flower Branch card today?
Yesterday morning the girls slept later than they normally do. I guess all the pool time over the weekend wore them out. They were both pretty tired last night and Zoie came and asked me if it was bedtime yet ~ she never does that. Remi went to sleep almost immediately which never happens either. I have to admit I went to bed early also. Being on watch for both girls at the pool wore me out also. They both went to day care so at least I had some quiet time and could do a few things.
Our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a sketch challenge.
I am not sure if I followed the sketch per se but it did give me the inspiration for my card. I started with the 4 circles across the bottom. I wanted to do something a little different so I opted to use the Colorful Seasons branch along with the flowers. I stamped the branch very lightly so I knew where to stamp my flower images. I had the one going up the page to represent the rectangles behind the circles (see I said I did not follow it exactly). After my branches were stamped I then stamped the flowers for the branches and used the coordinating framelit to cut them out. The flowers were added using glue dots or dimensionals. I could not decide which ribbon to use so I used both and tied a small bow which was added with glue dots. Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Colorful Seasons Flower Branch.
