Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Greetings Happy Day

Hello Stampers ~ I played with the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Greetings Happy Day sentiment and created a card.

Last night I did my Facebook Live.  I showed how to make a fun fold card and used the Watercolor Pencils.  I would love to have you join me next week on Friday evening at 7:00 pm EST.  I love sharing my creations and trying new things.  You never know what I will be doing!  After the Facebook Live I went with Jess and we took the girls to the carnival.  It was so much fun.  Remi thoroughly enjoyed herself this time!  It is amazing what a difference a year can make!  Last year her favorite ride was the Merry Go Round.  This year it was         Zoie is more adventurous.  She loves the Tilt-a-Whirl.  We had a fun time and the girls went home excited.

Today I am continuing on my Catalog Journey.  The stamp set I am working with is the Itty Bitty Greetings.  This is a great set.  It is a 2 container set and has 32 sentiments for just about any occasion you can think of.  I decided to pair it with the Garden Impressions designer series paper.  My colors used were based on the designer series paper.  I chose 2 patterns from the paper, one with flowers and one with an artsy background.   I mounted the floral paper onto Calypso Coral.  The artsy paper to me looked like the background was So Saffron (this color is not listed as a coordinating color but I thought it matched very nicely).  I punched out the artsy paper using the Tailored Tag Punch and mounted it onto a piece of So Saffron card stock.  I then fussy cut around the shape to give it a border.  My card base is Calypso Coral and I used a piece of So Saffron for a layering panel.  Before I attached the So Saffron card stock to the card base I embossed it using the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder.  I then layered my other 2 panels onto the card base.  My sentiment was stamped using Calypso Coral ink and I used the Classic Label punch to punch it out.  I shortened the sentiment strip by reinserting the strip into the punch and punching it a second time.  The sentiment was added using dimensionals.  To finish off my card I used the Whisper White 1/8″ sheer ribbon and tied a bow that was attached using glue dots.  Here is the completed creation.
