Beauty Abounds Butterflies

Merry Christmas Eve ~ I again played with a new bundle from the Occasions catalog with my Beauty Abounds Butterflies creation.

I had a fabulous lunch yesterday afternoon.  We spent 2 1/2 hours talking and catching up.  It was good to see the 2 ladies.  After lunch I ran some errands and then went back to Jess’ and the girls’ dad came to pick them up.  Jess picked up and then made the pound cake for Christmas dessert.  After that we ate dinner and watched White Christmas.  White Christmas is my favorite Holiday movie.  I held off watching it in hopes Jess would watch it with me.  I also love Holiday Inn but I did not see it on Netflix.  I will do a search and see if it shows up and if it does I will watch it also.  What is your favorite Holiday movie?

The Beauty Abounds Bundle has a framelit I wanted to play with.  It has a leaf swirl and wanted to see if I could use it to make a cut out border on a card panel for the front of a card.  I cut the swirl out twice along the right hand side of the Soft Sea Foam card panel.  This panel was added to a Mossy Meadow card base.  I used the bubble stamps in the set to create a bokeh effect.  The butterflies were stamped with Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.  I then used the Wink of Stella pen and colored over them to blur the ink.  The framelit was then used to cut them out.  The sentiment came from a demo set we got at Center Stage.  I stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink and then fussy cut it out.  The butterflies and sentiment were added to the card front with dimensionals.  Here is the completed Beauty Abounds Butterflies creation.
