Hello Stampers ~ my share today is a Moroccan Dragonfly.
Yesterday was a busy day. I had my appointment and then ran my errands. I was hoping to test drive a 2017 Highlander. I went to the Toyota dealer in our area and they did not have a Highlander on the lot. The manager explained that as soon as he gets them in they sell. I may try and visit the Toyota dealer in North Carolina next week and see if they have one I can test drive. If not I will work on it when I get back here.
I got some more of the items from the Occasions catalog. The dragonfly bundle was on my list and in my order a few weeks ago. I took some time to play with it the other day. There was a great sketch challenge at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday. I knew it would be perfect for my card today.
I thought the Moroccan dsp would be perfect to use for the colors in a dragonfly. I used 2 of the patterns for the horizontal and vertical elements. To create my dragonfly, I used the thinlits to cut out my dragonfly. Using the Emerald Envy ink pad and a sponge dauber, I inked up the head of the dragonfly. Next the Dapper Denim ink and a sponge dauber was used to ink up the body. To give the wings some color I used the Memento Tuxedo Black ink with a sponge dauber. When the entire framelit was colored, I used the clear Wink of Stella pen to add lots of sparkle to the image. Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today. I have an appointment today also and then I will be working on my cards for the February workshop and I have a class this evening. Have a Terrific Tuesday and what do you think of the Moroccan Dragonfly?
