Hello Everyone ~ would you like A Simple Masculine Card Idea today?

Well Barb came over yesterday afternoon and we packed up the kitchen.  After she left I packed up a bunch of my clothes that I know I won’t need in the next 2 weeks.  I have another builder coming this afternoon for an estimate.  I will make 6 videos over the next couple of days and do my Facebook Live tonight and then I will pack up my craft room so that everything is ready when the movers come next Friday the 22nd.  My builder is working hard to get things done so I can at least get in the house on the 25th.  I have to be out of the apartment on the 25th.  After the movers have emptied the apartment, I will take the weekend and clean it.  Then I will be ready to turn in my keys on Monday.  Lots to do next week so good thing I have nothing on my schedule!

I wanted to use the small tree image in Lovely As A Tree and knew it would be perfect for a Masculine card.  I began with a Crumb Cake card base.  The wood grain piece of designer series paper from Nature’s Poem was the next layer.  I took a strip of the leaf pattern paper from Share What You Love designer series paper and add it in the middle.  A 3/8″ strip of gold foil paper was added at the top and bottom of the leaf paper.  The tree image stamp was colored using Crumb Cake and Old Olive markers and then stamped onto a Whisper White card stock.  The 2 1/4″ circle punch was used to punch out the image.  I used the retired 2 1/2″ circle punch to punch out an Old Olive circle.  The 2 circles were adhered together and then added to the right hand side of the card base centered over the leaf strip using dimensionals.  Here is the completed A Simple Masculine Card Idea.
